What is Indo K-Work?
Indo K-Work is about about mutual aid and self-organization in the Indonesian migrant communities in South Korea.
It is is an open invitation to the Indonesian Workers (TKI) who want to share-not just about the lives and experiences while living and working in South Korea; but also about the skills and knowledge which can then be shared into a joint online platform. A variety of information, including tips, tutorials, tactics and strategies of daily survival in Korea can be shared here.

Indo K-Work invites the workers to explore video as a way to share knowledge and skills for living and working in South Korea. The worksers share videos based on their personal experience.

Through Indo K-Work, we would like to invite the Indonesian Workers to collectively accumulate/produce knowledge from work and migration activities, and at the same time can also play an active part as an agent who distribute the knowledge to wider audience. The early phases of Indo K-Work were developed and produced during the period of 25 July to 24 August 2016 in Wongok-dong, Ansan City, South Korea—developed as a collaboration with the Indonesian Community Center (ICC) to be able to build the early foundations of Indo K-Work and to be able to make video content together with the workers who are specifically invited to get involved since the early days of the development of the online platform.

Indo K-Work is the result of collaboration between the fellows of ICC's multimedia division, namely Diko, Hanum Putra Martono, Muhammad Abduh, Sujianto and Raden Mas Ulung—together with several artists from Indonesia, namely Julia Sarisetiati, Ary Sendy, Liemena Sapriya Putra, Yoppie Adhijaya and Muhammad Fatchurofi.
LEARNING GROUP ON FACTORY VOCABULARIES IN KOREA

Workers share a wide range of vocabulary that is familiar in their everyday life when they work in factories. This program was created, comes from the fact that the vocabularies they learned during the Korean Language Course (commonly undertaken during the preparation phase before workers departing to Korea) are often different from the reality that they encounter when working directly in the factory.

In Wongok-dong, where international migrants are living—the workers were invited to share their opinion, memories and feeling by marking significant places within the Wongok-dong map, using a variety of icons that have been developed to represent each places.
